HMAS Creswell has a rich history in Australia’s military operations, and the project’s objective was to upgrade the existing dwellings to ensure that this continues. The HMAS Married Quarter Precinct holds a high level of heritage significance and is listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List (CHL). All works were carried out under the governance of the EPBC Act 1999 and were completed in line with the HMAS Creswell Bush fire Management Plan adhering to Bal rating 19.

The project at HMAS Creswell consisted of the refurbishment of a total of a number of dwellings on base and required a delicate approach to carry out the works. The scope of works in the project included but was not limited to;

  • Copper Gutter Replacements

  • Meterboard Upgrades

  • Asbestos Removal

  • Roofing Restoration Works

  • Kitchen Refurbishments

  • Bathroom & Toilet Refurbishments

  • Interior & Exterior Painting

  • Lead Paint Removal

  • Mechanical Services Upgrades
