Form Projects was engaged to undertake the refurbishment of three residential dwellings within the HMAS Creswell Married Quarters Precinct, a site of significant heritage value listed on the Commonwealth Heritage List.

Given the historical importance of the precinct, all works were delivered in accordance with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and the HMAS Creswell Bushfire Management Plan, including compliance with BAL-19 requirements. The project required a careful and considered approach to preserve the heritage character of the dwellings while improving functionality, safety and long-term asset performance.

The scope of works included asbestos and lead paint removal, copper gutter replacement, meter board upgrades, roofing restoration, kitchen, bathroom and toilet refurbishments, interior and exterior painting, and mechanical services upgrades. Through meticulous planning and heritage-sensitive construction practices, Form Projects successfully modernised the dwellings while maintaining the integrity and significance of this important Defence asset.
