GINNINDERRY FARMHOUSE

Ginnenderry

Canberra, ACT

Heritage | Hazardous Remediation

The Ginninderry Farmhouse is a heritage listed farmhouse which was heavily dilapidated prior to works commencing on the project. The projects intentions were to protect the building for future use whilst Stage 2 of the Ginninderry development got underway. The farmhouse took a lot of renovations and extensions over the coarse of its construction which included asbestos sheeting amongst other Hazardous materials.

The project included the removal of the extensions and HAZMAT to restore it to its original aesthetic. Trades and services included demolition/HAZMAT removal, carpentry, roofing, hydraulics services, painting, flooring finishes, electrical services.

There was a great level of communication throughout the project duration. Form assisted in communicating with all stakeholders including the council.
