DISR DDA KITCHEN UPGRADE

Form Projects was engaged by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources to undertake the refurbishment and upgrade of kitchen facilities across Levels 9, 10 and 12 at 10 Binara Street, Canberra.

The project aimed to modernise the existing amenities, improve functionality and accessibility, and ensure compliance with current Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) requirements. Delivered within an occupied commercial office environment, the works required careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to building occupants and ongoing operations.

The scope included demolition of existing facilities, construction of new partitions and ceilings, installation of custom joinery, and upgrades to electrical, mechanical, fire and hydraulic services. The completed works delivered contemporary, accessible and highly functional kitchen facilities that enhance the workplace experience for building occupants.
